Blaze Ensemble enjoyed a very busy 2024-2025 season performing at venues including Blackheath Halls, Milton Court, The Old Hall at Lincoln’s Inn and All Saints, Fulham. Programmes included David Matthews’ chamber arrangement of Prokofiev’s ‘Peter and the Wolf’ Op. 67 with Beatrice Prokofiev as narrator, Mozart’s Requiem K626 (completion by Robert Levin), Mozart’s Concerto No. 10 for Two Pianos, Schubert’s Octet in F Major, D 803, Beethoven’s Septet in E♭ Major, Op. 20 and Haydn’s ‘Creation’ with St. Albans Choral Society conducted by George Vass.

We recently played our debut concert at Ipswich Minster performing Beethoven and Mozart’s Piano Wind Quintets and opened the new 2025-2026 season with a premiere of Adrian Sutton’s Dectet ‘Montana Peaks’ at The Old Hall, Lincoln’s Inn - click to listen.
